We Keep Us Safe: Film the Police

As the occupation of DC continues, one of the ways we can keep each other safe is to film the police.

filmthepolicedc.org, a new project from Harriet’s Wildest Dreams (HWD) and DC Migrant Solidarity Mutual Aid (MSMA), is a tool to help you share important documentation about police interactions and tips on police sightings. Check it out here.

Filming the police and other government officials who are plainly visible in public spaces is a constitutional right, so remember that you have rights and you can exercise them.
