THE WARD 6 DEMS
Our mission is to build a community across the diverse neighborhoods of Ward 6 to elect Democratic party candidates, educate voters, support Democratic party ideals and principles, and achieve equal representation for our residents through DC Statehood.
OUR MISSION
HOW DO WE DO THAT?

Hosting educational events with local elected officials and
community leaders

Sharing Democratic party and Ward 6 community information and resources through our bi-weekly e-newsletter, our website, and our social media platforms

Engaging in GOTV efforts inside and outside DC

Campaigning for Democratic nominees inside and outside DC

Developing community leaders through the Young Dems of Ward 6 and other volunteer opportunities within the Democratic party and the local community

Collaborating with Democratic party organizations like the DC Democrats and our fellow Ward-level Democratic party organizations

Supporting the work of community groups like Serve Your City/the Ward 6 Mutual Aid Network, the House of Ruth, and the Capital Area Food Bank
-
Promoting and participating in the work of Free DC, DC Vote, Neighbors United for Statehood, the DC51 PAC, and 51 for 51
