The Ward 6 Dems will be hosting an educational session on ranked choice voting for our members in April. But in the meantime, if you're anxious to get going on learning how it's going to work, the DC Public Library and the DC Board of Elections are hosting a series of townhall meetings this month.
Two have already passed, but you can still check out the events on Tuesday, March 24 in the Bellevue neighborhood in Ward 8 or on Saturday, March 28, just across our Ward 6 eastern border with Ward 7.
You can also check out the dedicated BOE webpage, which includes an interactive sample ballot so you can try it out yourself, at https://www.dcboe.org/rcv.
The 51st recently reported on the efforts underway to educate DC voters about our new voting options. The article includes an excellent "what you need to know" summary.
