Now that the US Census is complete and the Ward boundaries have been re-drawn, each Ward must create an updated map of Advisory Neighborhood Commissions and Single Member Districts. Councilmember Charles Allen has convened a Ward 6 Redistricting Task Force made up of Ward 6 residents who are not currently serving as Commissioners and have pledged they will not be running in the upcoming cycle.
Details of the process, the meeting schedule, and recordings of all previous meetings are available on Councilmember Allen's website. The FINAL meeting takes place TOMORROW night, Tuesday, March 15, during which the task force will be reviewing and approving the official maps.
