Take Action for DC Autonomy This July

Congress is in session for just three more weeks in July—here's how you can help protect DC Home Rule:

1. Congressional Visits: July 9, 16, 23 - Wednesday mornings

   Statehood activists are delivering "Future Constituent" postcards to congressional offices. We have an urgent need for co-leaders for July 9 and 23. Sign up to join or co-lead. Training provided!

2. Postcard Party: Wednesday, July 9, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. 

   Turn your frustration into action! Join your fellow DC Statehood advocates at the Women's National Democratic Club (1526 New Hampshire Avenue NW) to write postcards showing Congress what they'd be dealing with if they repeal Home Rule—potholes, trash complaints, parking disputes, and more. 3. Monthly Call - Wednesday, July 16, 6:30 p.m.

   Join the DC Dems' Statehood Committee for Home Rule updates, plus hear from guest speakers Shadow Senator Ankit Jain (D-DC) and Shadow Representative Oye Owolewa (D-DC).
