Last week the House statehood bill was introduced and it now has over 172 cosponsors on it! Next week we expect the Senate statehood bill will be introduced. The best to welcome the statehood bill's introduction is to have a beautiful new "Statehood for the People in DC" yard or window sign up at your home!
This weekend we will have two metro accessible locations for you to stop by to pick up a yard or window sign:
Saturday, 1/21/23, from 1-3pm we’ll be in the park by the Eastern Market Metro handing out signs. You’ll find us in the park area right across from Hill’s Kitchen (713 D St. SE).
Sunday, 1/22/23, from 10:30am-12pm we’ll be at the Dupont Circle Farmers Market close to the Metro entrance.
