DC Democrats Elect New Leadership

On Thursday, September 10, the DC Democrats held their leadership elections.

New leaders include:

• Chioma Iwuoha, Chair

• Aliyah McNeely, Vice Chair

• Michael Grier, Treasurer

• Trupti Patel, Recording Secretary

• Lïa Lake, Corresponding Secretary

Although the website hasn't been fully updated yet, Ward 6 is also now represented by four new members:

• Daraja Carroll, committee woman

• Lauren Kuritz, committee woman

• Avram Reisman, committee man

• Paul Spires, committee man

We'd like to welcome all our new leaders and representatives, while also thanking our outgoing leaders, particularly our Ward 6 committee women and men (Frank Avery, Melissa Laitner, Dorinda White, and Joshua Wiley), for their service.
