Our current #DemocratsCare coordinator, Lindsay Swisher, is moving into leading our GOTV efforts (both inside and outside DC), so the Ward 6 Dems are looking for a volunteer who'd like to step up and coordinate our community service projects. Past projects have mostly been focused on community cleanups and beautification projects, but we also have opportunities to piggyback on larger events like the Great Ward 6 Spring Clean (see below) and a potential city-wide #DemocratsCare project to benefit the Capital Area Food Bank.
