On Thursday, March 3, Councilmember Brooke Pinto joined the DC Democrats for their monthly general body meeting to discuss a bill she and Councilmember Trayon White have proposed to allow DC citizens to vote over the internet.
CM Pinto started by sharing a presentation outlining some of the challenges we face with voter turnout in DC and proposing voting over the internet as a potential solution, then she took questions from the members, many of which were quite probing.
You can view CM Pinto's presentation here.
You can view the recording of the session, including the Q&A portion, here (CM Pinto's presentation starts right at 6:15).

We will keep you apprised of this issue as the bill proceeds through the DC Council.
