You may have noticed one race conspicuously missing from our May candidate forums: Ward 6 council member. That's because our current council member, Charles Allen, is running unopposed in the Democratic primary, and he couldn't exactly debate himself.
However, we wanted to provide an opportunity for Ward 6 voters to meet with Council member Allen and get your questions answered prior to the DC primary election on June 21, so we've partnered with the Hill Rag, the Capitol Hill Restoration Society, DC Young Democrats, the Southwester, and SWNA (the Southwest Neighborhood Assembly) to make that happen.
Date: Monday, June 6
Time: 7:30 - 9:30 p.m.
Location: Town Square Towers Pavilion, 700 7th Street SW (in the rear)
Note: There is NO virtual option for this event, but the venue is a covered outdoor space. The venue is located near The Wharf, in Zone 6 parking and less than a 10 minute walk from the L'Enfant Plaza Metro station.
