The Ward 6 Dems are looking for a volunteer to serve as our secretary.
The Secretary is one of our voting officers and is normally an elected position, but since we are filling it between cycles of our biennial convention, the new secretary will be appointed by the officers to serve out the remainder of the current term (until June 2025).
The Secretary is, along with our Treasurer, our record-keeper. The Secretary participates in our monthly officers' meeting, first Saturday of the month at 10 am, and is responsible for taking the meeting minutes. The Secretary also acts as a backup to the President regarding meeting logistics, like notifications and Zoom hosting.
You must be a registered Democrat living in Ward 6 to serve.
